Micro Switch LXW-AZ Series

MOQ : 200

FAQs

Q1. The LXW-AZ is listed at 10A. Can it switch a 10A load?
No. The 10A is the thermal current, meaning the current the terminals can carry. The switching ratings are AC220V/1A and DC220V/0.3A (AC380V is also listed). For heaters, motors or solenoids, use the micro switch to drive a relay or contactor instead of the load directly.

Q2. How is real service life estimated beyond the 10 million mechanical cycles?
The 10 million figure is mechanical life. Electrical life depends on load voltage, current and type, so it will be lower. The rated electrical operating frequency is 20 operations per minute. Send the load and cycles per day, and we will help estimate whether the switch meets the product life target.

Q3. Is IP63 suitable for appliance or packaging equipment?
IP63 means dust-tight and protected against water spray, not jets or immersion. That suits enclosed or shielded areas of appliances and packaging machines. For direct washdown or oil splash, choose a sealed limit switch instead, such as the LX-ME/8000 (IP65) or LX-D4C (IP67).

Q4. Which of the 11 actuator variants suits a given application?
The models are LXW-AZ7100, 7110, 7120, 7121, 7124, 7140, 7141, 7144, 7310, 7311 and 7312. Tell us the actuator required (plunger, lever or roller), the actuating direction and the mounting space. We will map it to the right model.
